A bit complicated at first but like all things electronic, you quickly get the hang of it.I have a LG 3-d Google Smart TV and am a really serious film addict. Since many 3-d blu rays are not manufactured here multi-region problems arise for many films. Thus we have this LG multi region player. I am a long time LG fan and so when choosing my multi-player I went on my experience with my LG 3-d player and my LG television. It is simple once set up and operated a few times and this is nice.Qualify of picture, sound, and 3-d imaging is top notch! Such a thrill now to see favorite movies in 3-d from other Regions. I’m a happy camper! You will be also I’m betting. Again as I’m a dedicated LG consumer I like the cross actionable controls etc that I am already used to here keeping things simple.Relatively inexpensive and quality of engineering/design make this multi-region player a best bet!~operabruin

After years of using my Playstations for 3D Blu-ray support, I upgraded to this unit for my home theater. This is a simple-to-use unit that provides great picture quality and fully supports multi-region discs including 3D movies. A great example is I had a region 2 copy of Terminator 2 that I could not watch on the Playstation but with a quick button press on the remote, it worked perfectly on this unit.

LG All 3D Region Free Blu Ray Player is NOT Region Free as produced by LG, therefore the " region free " is a element added by a third party , (presumibly the company 220 ), sold through Amazon. I purchased same in June of 22 ( about 9 months ago. ) The issue is that the player does not now play any movie made by Lionsgate ! Other than that, all playback is normal. Called Amazon ,who directed me to contact 220 directly.Did that. After explaining that to the 220 rep, I got the " thats not my dept." routine , transfered , and got the " leave a message " routine. Amazon and co. talk about a 30 day return policy, but nothing about warrenties.

This is marketed as multi-region for DVD's (it is) and Blu-rays (it is not).Update: The instructions for selecting a Blu-ray region are incomplete. A factory reset is insufficient. You need to configure networking, but if it is not connected to a network, you cannot simply exit the network configuration. You need to select an icon with a triangle and a vertical line. This is terribly inconvenient compared to DVD's where it just works automatically, but technically it seems to work.

It plays everything, I just plug and play.I search online for the full manual, just for information about the product.

It was to replace my Sony that was supposed to do all -it didn't.But this LG does!! The quality of picture on my TV also seemed to improve! Must have been a loose plug on the Sony.My only hang up is the converter. Pressing the buttons are a getting used to. When did or reading they either don't respond or over respond. But I'm extatic with everything else. Rather vote 4-1/2 stars but definitely recommend.

I bought this to play DVDs from UK. This has worked great out of the box. No issues and I have used it two hours a night, for three months. The delivery was fast and no issues.
