Works well!
This fan is a good value upgrade from the original in my Winnebago Navion. This baby can move a ton of air out of your rig when needed. It installed easily and fit perfectly into the 14 x 14 opening for the old fan. It has a touch control which is modestly disappointing. A remote control would make the fan easier to operate, though it is no big deal to hit the button necessary to work the fan unless you have small family members in which case a remote controlled fan may better serve your needs.. The most popular fan is a lot more $. I don’t let the money control my purchases, but it is nice to find a value buy that works just as you would hope it would.

Well Designed & great features
The motor on our older top of the line fan failed and this one looked good for less than half the price of an exact replacement. Since all the fans and holes in the roof are the same...it was easy to decide to give this one a try. Installation took about 1.5 hours with a good portion of that removing the old one and cleaning up prep before putting the new one in. We've used it a couple of weeks now and actually like it better than the premium brand. It moves air just as well and the 6 speeds and reverse air flow are great additional features. Opening the lid is manual and not tied into the on & off switch which we like also. This one does a great job on high clearing the air...and the lower speeds can pull in a gentle flow in the bedroom to reduce the need for the A/C at night. Good product at a good price!

Decent alternative to more expensive makes.
I really like the 6-speeds and the reversible motor. Install was simple. The large fan blade means more air at less RPMs, and sure as heck-fire moves more air and does so quieter. Build is just a tad flimsy, but then this is the more affordable choice. It has been installed and running for about 6 months without issue.

Great product.
This fan works great ( as good as that other brand, but cheaper ). I can’t remember if I could do it with the other but this one you can run it with lid closed ….. ala ceiling fan. Love it.

Do Not Buy
I bought this to help exhaust heat during cooking and as a fan during the cooler days. Once I realized all that needed to be done to replace the existing vent, I thought about returning it because it was out of my ability. Should have stopped there, I hired someone to put it in and was excited. We opened it and turned it on, it is nice and quiet, then closed it. Today, one day after installation, I go out and open it to get airflow through while packing to leave. I turned off the fan to close and leave, turn the knobs and halfway down the knobs strips and now I can't close the vent. Now I have a vent in my camper that is useless to me and out the money of the vent and installation. I was better off with what I had before.Update, I tried to contact the company with no success. I am now out $400 for installation and then to remove it.

Would buy again
Has only been installed on my enclosed trailer for about 6 months. No leaks so far Just be sure to use plenty of silicone and make the hole a tight fit when cutting. Both directions are very useful along with the varying speeds. The fan is also quiet enough to not keep me awake at night. No remote control included.

I want to like it more
The media could not be loaded. I needed a vent for my cargo trailer for when I use it camping, since it gets stuffy in there quick. I wanted to put a slightly nicer vent than the ultra cheap one I found and this is what I went with. Before I installed it I checked to make sure it worked, and it did. The vent hood opened and closed fine, and the fan worked.I then cut my hole and sealed the vent onto my trailer. It still opened and closed. I came out the next day to open it up while I worked in it, and the hood would not open. I was pretty annoyed since it's a bit tricky to install and waterproof. Amazon sent me a new to replace it, but I haven't installed the new one yet since I'll have to cut the sealant. The poor hood opening mechanism aside, I have been able to open the hood by pushing up on it with my fingers through the fan blades (not ideal but works for now).I like that the fan has 6 speed options. It is very quiet on settings 1-2. 3 starts to get notably noisy and gets noisier the higher the setting. The fan reverse setting is also nice to have.It does NOT come with a remote control which would be a handy addition if they added. The trim piece is a bit difficult to cut to fit, but it looks nice when fully installed.I have been through a few hard rain storms and have not had any leaks. I used butyl tape and a clear weatherproof adhesive from a local Home Depot in the roofing section.
