Oldie but goodie
Even though the book is quite old, it still works perfectly well to describe the separate boroughs and define your trip. Many places to visit, interest spots, and places to eat are still available. I love Frommer's books, with their precise descriptions and logical divisions, and have used them for many years over any other traveling guide.

Perfect to carry in bag for quick reference.
Information was great. Foldout laminated transit map was extremely helpful. Size and weight made it perfect to carry in bag.

Maps will not zoom but content is good
They need to fix the zoom. Most but not all of the maps cannot zoom making them unusable on a digital screen. Fix the zoom and I would give 4 stars.The content is good but less detailed than Rick Steves. I like how Frommers organized the sections by art, shopping, dining, museums,etc. The neighborhood descriptions show me what is around my hotel.

If you only buy one book make it this one.
Accurate, excellent itineraries. Perfect size to slip in purse or pocket. Never left the hotel without it.
