Solar panels, a DC fridge and this converter
This is used for picnics when the family goes out. I put MC4 connectors on input wires and an Anderson connector on the output wires. I use 2 Allpowers 140-watt portable solar panels, in series, for connection to this DC converter to power a DC fridge. As long as the sun shines on the panels, the fridge runs. The fridge runs when it is a little cloudy since it doesn't take much power, the solar panels can keep up.

I'm Using This For 12 volts from My 24 Volt Supply For My Printer's LED Lights
I needed a good 12 volts for my printers LED lights. I used this unit connected to my system 24 volt supply and it converts it down to the needed 12 volts. I have had this up and running for about two weeks now with no issues. Works really well.Well worth a full 5 stars.

Works as described
I love this product. It works as described. I’ve added some additional lights and turn signals on my E bike. This product allows me to use my pre-existing E-bike battery 52 V. It step it down to 12 V. Allowing me to run my additional lights. I recommend this item.

Starts with a power surge
This thing is supposed to power up to 5 amps at 12v. Unfortunately when it first starts up it causes a surge in amperage that will blow any 5amp circuit. I don’t know how high the current actually is but it’s much higher than 5amps and it makes it unusable for my situation.
