Electrolux EL012W Vacuum HEPA Filter Genuine Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) part for Electrolux

Early 2008 I bought from Amazon the Electrolux Harmony Canister Ultra Quiet Vacuum #EL6985A (factory refurbished), one of these washable filters sold by Ace Photo Digital, and 2 boxes of 36 Electrolux Generic Harmony/Oxygen Vacuum Bags sold by United Vacuums through Amazon. I had called Electrolux at that time to get more information and this is what I ended up buying. I am happy with my products - all are great. I recommend getting all three products - a new or factory refurbished Harmony Vacuum would be a good choice unless you have high shag type carpeting. I basically wanted to be "all set" for quite some time and not have to worry about finding what I needed in an emergency or keep putting off buying filters until I completely ran out or something. One of the review comments wondered why someone would buy 2 washable filters. To be honest, I haven't yet used my washable filter to date as my other filter is still just fine. I think I recall that the washable filters can be washed "so many times" before they should also be replaced. But, I bought just one as that is what I felt I needed.

We love our Electrolux canister vacuum. We had the upright vacuums - various brands - but this one is our favorite. The washable filter is very convenient so it's easy to keep it clean.

Works well. I keep having to reread instructions to be sure Iam using proper settings. I did put a tape with notes by the settings. Wish it came with a separate horn end for under furniture. I found one online but the fit would be better if one was included by the manefacturer. Decent value.

It certainly makes more sense having a washable/reusable filter than a discardable type. This picks up as much fine dust as the non-washable variety.

I am writing after much frustration about many orders that I had to return. I purchased the Electrolux EL0043A vacuum that claims it comes/ a washable filter...it does not. Electrolux was kind enough to send me a washable filter(the color is blue and white #EL012W. I ordered this EXACT filter/ picture included repeatedly only to receive the EL012B (which is green and white). I brought to everyone's attention that the problem could be that an incorrect sticker was placed on the end of the boxes. This sticker states the filter is EL012W. After ordering 4 different times and conducting investigations, I am still without washable filters for this vacuum. The vacuum is amazing and I would really hate to return it. I can't understand why it is IMPOSSIBLE for me to get this filter through Amazon when it is advertised at an affordable price. Amazon's customer service is amazing but my problem of obtaining this filter has not been resolved. This is the only area that I am disappointed / Amazon and 3rd party sellers. Pretty hard to rate when I can't even get it.

Good value substitute for what we'd pay more for in a big box hardware store.

Rather than search all over town to find this replacement filter, it was so easy to order this from Amazon and have it delivered. thisis a key part of the vacuum cleaner's operation and simple to replace.

Appears to be exactly the same as the washable unit we are using now. I want a second unit so we can change these without having wait for the one to dry after cleaning.
