Addiction (Seven Deadly Sins)

Review
Amazing story above everything. Their story is unique and full of secrets. I love their dynamic and how they grow emotionally and mentally. They both have a difficult past that has affected their current life and how they see their future. Case is a mysterious and rough man who does not give anything away about his past, only his current life which I am NOT a fan of. I hated that one character SO much and I freaking hate that that person was named TOO many times and that they meant something to those characters. I love how they were lead to each other. They so much to overcome and to accept. They are it for each other, and seeing the one you love walk away is not an option right? They say true love conquers all, but it's not without it's challenges. Only these, well these are personal, secret, and heart aching.

Ashlyn lives in Seattle with her best friend Becca
I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book. Ashlyn lives in Seattle with her best friend Becca. They met in college and just graduated. Now they are moving back to Manhattan where Beccas originally from. Her parents have set them up with an apartment. Before they move and start living in the real world they decide on a weekend trip to Panama City to let lose one last time.Ash doesnt do relationships and doesnt believe in happily ever afters. In Seattle she doesnt date much. She has a friend Bradley who is also a bed buddy. No strings, no feelings, no problems. While in Florida shes living it uo and has a one night stand with some guy. Everything went as planned they had an amazing night then she left the next morning. She gave him a fake name and they didnt exchange numbers, perfect. Until she comes out of her room in her shared suite to find her one night stand there surprising his sister, her best friend Becca!Ryder is a businessman. He works at his dads fortune 500 company and has plans to take over one day when his dad retires. He doesnt have time for vacations but, when a neeting in Paris falls through he decides to go to Panama City to surprise his sister. They havent seen each other in years. They live on opposite sides of the US and between his work and her schooling they didnt have the time. His first night in Panama he meets a woman and they go back to his room. The next day shes gone with no complications and he goes to surprise his sister. He couldnt get her or the amazing night they spent together out of his mind though. He finds his sister and is shocked even more to find out the woman he just spent the night with is his sisters best friend who also lied about her name. Ash and Ryder had 1 night together, thats all Ash wanted but now that he found her again he doesnt wanna lose her just yet and hes really glad that shes moving to New York with Becca, right into the apartment complex he lives in! Now Ryder has to convince Her hes worth taking a chance on and that happily ever afters do exist. Everything goes well and they're happy and he keeps trying to get her to see how much he cares. Then everything comes crashing down. This is part of a series! This book ends on a major cliffhanger so be warned. I loved this book though. Ryder is the perfect Alpha male and Ashlyn stays true to herself and what she wants no matter how involved she gets with Ryder. Shes also so stupid and i wanna yell at her for not realizing sooner. Thats all ill say on that though, gotta read the book! The plot is great! I love all the characters, Becca and Jaycent are the best friends and they add so much to the story. Cant wait for the next book!!!!

Addictive Read
Addiction is filled with danger, intrigue and lust. Good girl, Taylor, has not had an easy life. Her father is a drug addict and after repeatedly bailing him out of jail and loaning him money she's finally given up on him. But her older brother Blane refuses to give up on his father. He believes he can change and become the father he once was before their mother died when the were young. But when their father gets thrown in jail again, he's gone too far and can't be bailed out. So Blane does the unthinkable to help his dad out. But how will Blane's actions affect Taylor's life?Bad boy, Case, is a known as a big time drug dealer in Chicago, although the cops can't prove anything against him. He owns a popular night club along with his best friend. Case is sex on a stick and can have a different woman in his bed every night. But in his dark world he chooses to use a woman that he and his best friend share. They treat her like a whore and she seems to love being demeaned through sex. She also has a messed up background just like Case. Case, for all of his bad boy image is not a bad person behind the facade. When he meets Taylor he knows she's hands off because she's Blane's sister and because he has Blane doing dangerous business for him. Case knows he has to keep Taylor safe. She doesn't belong in this dark and dangerous world. The characters are well developed and despite not liking Case in the beginning you can't help but begin to like him when he becomes protective of Taylor. The danger and intrigue begin soon after the beginning of the book and carries through until the very end. There are drug deals gone bad, fighting and a kidnapping. But who is trying to destroy Case and his club "Seven Deadly Sins?. Who is shooting at Case, Talyor, Blane and all of Case's friends? This book will keep you on the edge of your seat and you won't want to put it down. I couldn't give this book 5 stars because I was disgusted by Case and how he treats Taylor once they become involved with each other. Sexually he treats Taylor no better than he treated Rachel, the dirty whore who he shared with his best friend. He said he knew she was special from the moment he saw her so why didn't he treat her with more respect? Still, a great read. The character development and the action and intrigue make this one heck of a read!I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

So good
Taylor is on a night out with her brother and his girlfriend when she spots a guy staring at her. As much as she wants to avert her gaze she can’t. Later she finds out he is the club owner Case and her brother is dealing drugs for him. All is not what it seems and everyone is lying to Taylor and even though she tells Case she hates him she can’t deny the connection she feels to him. I enjoyed reading this so much I’ve bought the paperback as well.

Absolutely Addictive!!
What a book! I was totally hooked from the beginning, trying very early on to work out what is going on and what the connections are between, Taylor, Blane, Case and Brecken. As addiction starts to unfold you are kept second guessing and all you can do is literally live in the moment and simply wait for the story to give you some clues and by that I mean with Case and Brecken but let's not forget Blane's involvement too.I felt quite anxious at times because I was worried that Taylor might end up getting addicted to drugs or something, it's just that you weren't sure where it was all going especially when she was around Rachel but thankfully the only addiction she had was Case.Just when you think you might have an idea as to what is going on or where it's all going you are completely thrown, honestly I would never have guessed it right about Case and Brecken to say I was surprised is an understatement.I have to say, when Taylor got shot Shantel Tessier led us to believe for a brief moment she had died and I honestly thought that is what had happened, just as Case and Taylor were finally happy, let's face it this author has done that before, if anyone has read Dash then you will know exactly what I mean! This is a fantastic story that just about features everything addiction being the main concern and message but let's not forget the danger, sex, Lies, mystery, I might have missed something? Oh I know what about Case's real name being Tyler, I had to smile to myself... Tyler and Taylor.. Brilliant! It all began in August 2013 for me when the first instalment of the Undescribable Series came out, read it all and Dash, loved every bit and I can't wait for Brecken's story Obsession..can't come soon enough.Thank you for the start of another brilliant series!

good start but kinda flat lined
I really enjoyed the other books by this author, and I enjoy the mix of violence and romance, but this book was just kinda boring and predictable. Taylor didn’t really have any redeeming qualities, she seemed kind of pathetic and child like. Couldn’t really get a hook into their connection.

Didn't really deliver
Rather disappointing to be honest. I found I never really bonded with Taylor. She came across as whiney, and considering what she was worried her brother had got involved in, very unfocussed. It's safe to say the plot is a little predictable and there were elements of the writing that annoyed me, notably how frequently Case kept saying how he needed to stay away from Taylor, or that she was like fresh air.It lacked originality in that respect, though the plot was pretty good.It needs copy editing and proof reading too.
