For the price this is a wonderful little knife. I carry it everyday and practically use it everyday. It’s made well with a useful single blade that disappears in a pocket.

Best knife I had in years

So I thought the handle was bone but, it's actually a plastic called "Staglon." After reading the description from the manufacturer more closely I did find one reference to the handle material which was: Manufacturer - Unbreakable sawcut Staglon handles. The error was completely on me, not being familiar with knives I probably saw Stag... and just continued reading. This was not an issue because my son in law loved it. He said it was built well, had a nice heft to it for such a small knife and was very sharp right out of the box not to mention the unbeatable price! Unlike other buyers who give something a "1 star" review because of their error, I'm giving this a 5 star review. I read a 1 star review because the blade wouldn't close, it had to be pushed close. Um, that's what "not spring loaded" means! Not sure why failing to read the description would warrant a 1 star review. For anyone looking for an honest to goodness "pocket knife" I definitely recommend this knife. Note: Since when are 6-7" (closed) knives considered pocket knives! 🤔

Good quality, handy size (i.e., not too large) pocket knife. The blade sharpens easily and stays pretty sharp.Similar options are the Schrade 104OT or the Schrade 72OT (they each have 2 blades). If you want a larger pocket knife, consider the Schrade Old Timer Ramrod 3-Blade Folding Knife or the the Schrade 34OT (also 3 blades). I have all 5 of these Schrade pocket knives and find the quality comparable(I do not work for Schrade, I just purchased several models because I have them in a number of places in my house and workshop) . So, choose based on blade count, size and price.Most manufacturers now make their pocket knives in Asia and the quality of pocket knives has gone down with that change. However, I am happy with this knife and my other Schrade pocket knives, especially at the prices.

This is the perfect size pocket knife. Actually very sharp. Carry with no bulge in your pocket. I open packages, letters and straps that all the toys are packaged with.
