Works best with medium and Dark Roasts
I've been using a blade coffee grinder for a while and a manual burr grinder, so I decided to take a chance on this device since it was on sale.First off, if you are looking for a high end grinder that works fast and takes up at least 6 times the counter space, this isn't the grinder for you. That being said, for the space savings and cost savings, this thing works great for dark and medium roasts. I had a lot of difficulty with light roast beans since they are so dense, but I was able to get through it by adding a little bit at a time and grinding at a 45 degree angle so the beans go in slow.Unjamming the device was relatively easy by turning the adjustment ring to fine and back to coarse until the beans compressed or cracked a bit more. This can take a few tries and you may need to empty the chamber of the unground coffee beans first. The grind consistency is pretty uniform and it did a batch of medium fine (about 10 out of 15 on the grind selection ring) with a single button press with time to spare.Charging took about an hour to complete our of the box, but I wasn't checking it frequently and I didn't have it on a fast USB C charger.I have not tried brewing coffee in the cup, but it seems like it would work just fine.Pros: small footprint, portable grinder, would be great for taking to the office or for travel, easy to use, has external grind size selection, relatively quiet operation, consistent grind.Cons: gets jammed with light roast/dense beans, can make a bit of a mess when resting the top portion on a surface while taking out the grounds (this can be mitigated with a small saucer or napkin)Overall, I recommend this grinder if you need the counter space and aren't going to be grinding light roast coffee. It has a nice appearance and performs well.

Can only grind coarse after only one month of use!
When I first received it it worked fine. The finest grind setting - although still a bit too coarse for espresso machine, it was acceptable. But within about a month of use once a day, the finest setting became much coarser. It turned into something that's barely ok for pour over, and the grind size was not consistent. Now it is only barely usable for me in the finest setting, and I don't know what'd happen after another few months. Not worth the money!

Comes in very handy! Easy to use.
I was rather skeptical when I ordered this, figured it would wake the dead at 5am. I was wrong! The grinder works GREAT, not super quiet, but not annoyingly noisy either. Probably would cause a cattle stampede though! In my humble opinion, the itty bitty little coffee cup is useless for making coffee in it. I don't know anyone that drinks coffee in a cup that tiny (my coffee mug is 40oz insulated stainless steel), BUT remove the filter gadget and it holds enough ground coffee for a regular pot plus some. Perfect for trips to a remote location where hauling your regular size grinder isn't an option (camping, hiking, etc; skip the cattle drive). I really like it, even use it at home a few times a month, charge it once a month per instructions. And I reckon that tiny little cup could be of use in a coffee emergency, lol. No issues so far, would make a great gift for the traveler or outdoorsy type!

Worth every penny to not have to manually grind when I travel.
Grind settings are not accurate. On the coarse grind, it is still too fine. But in a pinch, it’s far better than a manual grinder. I bought two.

works perfectly
my first grinder and it performs perfectly. I bought it so this is real. I mistakenly bought whole bean 1st time ever. Instead of returning it for already ground I decided to keep it and get a low cost grinder. Best decision ever. Coffee is soo much better I can't believe it. Don't let the price deter you

Good, for 3 months!!
I use this to coffee grinder for my espresso machine, and in the beginning I found it great: has a small foot print, a good design, and 15 grinding settings. It's good for travel also, until it practically stopped working out of the blue. After roughly 3 months os use (once a day: I just get my coffee in the morning) it started stoping during the grinding process, apparently the coffee beans get stuck between the grinding blades and I had to shake it vigorously to get it going again. After some time it become more and more difficult to get the grinder back after it get stuck, to the point I cannot use it anymore. It's fully charged, and I cleaned it after every use, so there's no reason for this malfunctioning, other than poor quality!

This is an absolutely terrible product in almost every possible detail.
Where to begin? It doesn't charge with a USB-C to C cable, so I can't simply plug it into my phone charger or laptop charger. The insides were absolutely coated with plastic dust, I cleaned what I could but it's not made to be disassembled so I'd probably end up eating a lot of extra plastic. The lid doesn't quite fit on the cup part, when it so easily could be made to.You can't see how much coffee has been ground without unscrewing the bottom. It grinds extremely slowly even on the coarsest setting. You can't easily grind coffee into anything besides the flimsy proprietary brewing basket thing, or the cup itself. Most likely both since there's no seal between the brewing basket and the cup, and the grinder drops the grinds right on the edge. While you're using that cup, the grinder is sitting somewhere without a bottom spilling coffee grounds every time it's moved.
