The BEST Standalone Controller
I've been testing out standalone 125khz door controllers to find the best and easy to install one and the hardware to go with it. This standalone controller I thought would be junk because it was so cheap, but once I hooked it up to a 12V/3A Power Supply Control Unit, it worked first try. Usually, the wiring schematics are wrong on the cheap controllers so there is some playing around you have to do to the wires but not on this unit. This unit the wiring was simple, installation was simple, the directions easy to read. The app was easy to install and setup. This controller is great. I love it. Very rarely am I impressed by door security products I buy because I know most of them have little quirks and work arounds....but not this product.I have no complaints about this product, I think it is great and for the price it makes it AMAZING.These are not complaints I have but rather it is me just telling you of the 2 things I see other people complaining about with this product:The first is the wires in the back of it are really weak, I want to say 24 gauge but they may even be smaller gauge. I am used to dealing with 18 gauge or 22 gauge wire. It was fine setting this up but if I was going to install this permanently on a door, I would strip the wires some more and dip the ends in solder to make sure I get good conductivity. The second is that the app makes you enter a minimum of 6 digits for a PIN code. Most of our businesses the minimum is 5 digits. But it is safer requiring 6 digit PIN codes but a backwards pain in the a** if you already are used to only a 5 digit PIN code. But, again, this is a GREAT product especially with it being so cheap. I forgot to mention that it comes with 10 125khz keyfobs, I didn't use the keyfobs since I already have my keyfobs. So for the price you great a sleek looking standalone 125khz door controller that is easy to set up manually or with an app and comes with 10 keyfobs.

Works and is perfect for my usage but struggles to set it up
The media could not be loaded. Like. Touch and can add as many user you can and title it and it lights up the numbers and the wireless card is a bonusDislike took quite some time to figure it out without screwing up

I'd give this thing 0 stars if I could
1.) The wifi range is borderline useless - I've had to mount a AP 1m away from it, on the other side of a wooden door, and it still complains about poor reception2.) It lets you add cards / pins via the app - and then they just FREQUENTLY and randomly stop working - I can see them in the app, but - they don't work at the keypad. You have to frequently readd them.3.) A lot of the functionality doesn't work - the app constantly shows the keypad in an open state, when its not, holding to "Lock" - just unlocks again and leaves it unlocked.4.) The functionality limit access times just doesn't work - it won't even let you set it - I have a worker who only comes in on Fridays - but - you can't set that, even though it says you can.5.) Did I mention the codes/cards just randomly stop working and you have to redo the setup.Definetly don't purchase this if you want something reliable.

like unlocking doors in a spy movie
These keypads are really cool. You can use them to send a signal to do something like open a door, for instance. That is really the main thing people use them for, but really anything you want to send a signal to like a buzzer or a light or an API or something. This one has a lot of great features like multiple ways to open it. You can use passcode, RFID tags (included), NFC on your Android phone, or WiFi. This makes it very versatile. You can power it with 12v power from a standard power supply, or from a 12v battery which is what I plan on doing. I am going to put this one on my shed and use it to unlock an electronic magnetic door lock for added security. This lock connects to the Tuya app, and Tuya also have an API you can use to access your devices further for example through Home Assistant. I have several Tuya-connected lights in my home.I did attach it to a 12v power source just to test it before install because I haven't had time to put it on my shed yet, but it was functional during my testing. At $30, for this much versatility, I would say definitely check this out if you are looking for electronic door keypads.

Great if and when it communicates to the network!
Pairing this device to a Wi-Fi network requires disconnecting the wires every time on the keypad. If device would stay connected like everything else on your network it would not be a problem. It main issue is the weak radio receiver that intermittently detects a network regardless of signal strength. I have an Orbi mesh network with an excellent signal with -25db loss detectable by everything else in the same location. To make matters worse the Tuya application interface is cheesy and will not talk with Google Home as implied. Regardless of how many times permissions are granted and says google is linked it is not detected by Google Home.If you are looking for an RF lock opener with any reliability, DO NOT BUY!!! KEEP LOOKING ELSEWARE!!!
