Great car seat our 1,5 year old daughet is loving it. Just make sure that you attach it on isofix tightly, otherwise it would be a bit wobbly.

Purchased for my 13 month old who had grown out of the Doona (which we totally loved!) this was the car seat for grandma’s car as we’d already purchased 2 others in different colours for our own cars.Safety wise, this one is the slightly older model (new one is SX2) but understand the body itself is the same and therefore considered one of the top scoring ADAC safety tested. This was one of the key reasons we went for this car seat, that and it spins to enable easy “boarding”. We love this car seat. It states that it’ll do up to 3/4 year old depending on centile of child. Ours is 50th so expecting to last the duration stated. Also like that it can rear face for this entire time.However, enter any extended rear facing forum and they’ll say this isn’t Swedish Plus Tested therefore not recommended. I will add there are only a handful that are and as a first time mum, I had not heard about this test regime. Either way, I’ve placed my trust in a German engineered car seat from a reputable brand.The only vanity complaint is the “red” is more an orange… it’s not a vibrant as the picture suggested. I even checked on the Cybex site so it’s not Amazon.All in all, this is a great car seat, easy to fit and use. Arrived in tact with no damage to box either so am happy with purchase.

My baby is & months old and has been using the Cybex s2 for just over one week now. Installation is simple if you follow the instructions. I watched the Cybex YouTube video several times and found it helpful re installation.It seems study and secure and my baby appears to be very comfortable. He falls asleep straight away in the car seat and looks at peace. I look forward to seeing how it continues to perform but, so far, so good.

The media could not be loaded. This sit stopp d locking in place in less then a year of use.It was now even used on a daily basis. Online this seams to be very common and there is no real solution apart for a refund request and buying something that actually works.We had everything else from cybex so far and we were very happy, but this is a major faliure. It's unsafe and useless now.

I ordered this as safety wise they rate well and due to a car accident I have back problems so needed to have the ability to turn towards me to strap in and for my toddler to climb into when he's able.The first one within a year went faulty, it wouldn't lock into place rear facing. It just swung side to side. It went back to be repaired, they took 3 weeks and then replaced the whole base and sent it back.I've had the new base and seat back for 2 months and yet again it's gone faulty and just sways back and forth. Unfortunately this time it happened when 200 miles from home and my husband had to come and rescue me with his car leaving me stranded with 3 small children for a couple of hours. The other annoyance is that the replacement seat no longer locks when facing out the door, apparently because Cybex have changed the design. The swivel function is now completely useless. You lift them in and with the slightest wiggle it swings side to side and there's no hope of him climbing in as it's just far to unstable due to not locking.Unfortunately it is looking like a total waste of money and while I've requested a refund I suspect it'll be a no and I'll have no choice but to spend another fortune on a comparably safe seat.I'd avoid at all costs.
