Works exactly as expected!
Intuitive setup for the technically inclined since there were no English instructions in the box but the diagrams were clear.Storm just blew through the neighborhood without causing a blink in the electricity but the garage refrigerator is on a more ‘sensitive’ household circuit and the alarm reacted immediately to the outlet loss of power.Alarm is just loud enough to hear over our television sound level, but would be easily heard in a quiet house.Four-star rating due only to lack of English instructions.

Designed not to work at all
I don’t know how companies are making money on this, but they obviously are. This product was designed to look like it works, but it doesn’t. The battery size says 220v, but AAA don’t fit at all, and AA are too big to fit correctly. There are no terminals for the batteries to complete their circuit on one side, so it wouldn’t even matter if batteries could fit, which they don’t. The plug for the outlet are two metal nub protrusions of the same size, no holes or change in width. How anyone could look at this product and say, “Yes, this product will work as intended.”, is beyond me. It’s like a toy designed to look like a ‘power out alarm’. Thanks to the developers of this product for completely wasting my time and thanks to Amazon for carrying such a piece of excrement. I’ll get my money back, but obviously someone has made money off of this deception.
