Can i used for drain system drain plag for boat?

Sure, as long as outer threads match those of your drain. This piece is very high quality. I use mine in 5 gallon pail serving as an overflow reservoir for my boiler.

What kind of rubber are the gaskets? Are they resistant to diesel?

I couldn’t get that info either. I’m sure it’s buna. However I installed in a fuel tank almost a year ago and haven’t had any problems

How thick of a wall can it be used on?

Just measured the space with the nut just covering the threads and rubber washers. 1/2” is safe but you may be able to go to 9/16”.
