Did the job
Used on a 30mile trail run. Kept the dirt and such out of my shoes the whole time. Velcro held up fine. These are NOT designed to keep water out. Just a peice of synthetic fabric with a hook and velcro.

not worth a dime
They don't cover the side of the shoe so rocks and sand still get in. The velcro on the back did not stay attached o my Asics Trabuco Max for more than 3 mi. Save you $4 and skip these.

Bottom hook fell off after just a few uses, Seller sent a new pair
Original review: Wore these pairs of gaiters at most five times, and the hook on the front of the gaiter fell off. I've have several pairs of Dirty Girl gaiters (which is an almost identical design) that have lasted years of trail running use. *** Seller sent a new pair, will update as far as durability after I have used these a few times ***
