Yes, MH stands for medium heavy. It rates the power of the rod. It's probably a FAST "Action". Meaning ...just the upper third of the rod will bend. Not the Action if your casting all day. more of a live bait rod. Casting lures all day, you must go MODERATE......MODERATE/FAST Action. Hope this helps you make the right selection tailored to you.
