Tooled Faux Leather Western Cowboy, Embossed Vinyl, Craft DIY and Upholstery Pleather Fabric - by The Yard (Black) 54 Inches

I found this old Cosgo stool in a thrift shop. EVERYONE had one in their kitchen when I was a kid. I'll touch up the legs of the stool with some eggshell white enamel. This tooled faux leather was easy to replace for the back and seat. It stretches, did not wrinkle, did not require additional padding. It can be wiped off with a damp cloth if needed. I duct taped it to the metal plating underneath. It really looks nice in our back room. I bought too much and will cover a small counter top by the stereo area--we have a lot of this color variation so it was just perfect. I liked the pattern and the cost was very affordable.

Interesting and looks good from front. It’s pretty thin though and doesn’t compare well to other vinyls. It’s not like a marine vinyl. The back is kind of like matted dryer lint. I think I will still find a use for it, but unlikely to reorder.

This fabric is not only more beautiful seeing it in person, but is very easy to work with. The design is very forgiving for even the most amateur person (me) who ends up with flaws in their work. I got the “Old Blue” color and am in love with it, but can’t wait to try out the other colors as well!

The vinyl was soft and pliable, a beautiful color. Although I’m not a professional upholsterer, it came out great!

Just wanting sample. Based on that I would not want more fabric.

I had been putting off redoing my chairs...this was the perfect product for it. It is think and you will need to work on getting those rounded edges just right, but once done, it's great!
