For someone that travels a lot for work, this is sooo much better than what came with my computer

The media could not be loaded. After receiving this laptop charger and opening the box I could tell the cloth covered cable that plugs into the laptop itself has poor quality wires used to manufacture it, in my opinion. I have over 11 years of manufacturing cable and electric assembly experience and can feel the cheaper cable being used inside the cloth braided covering. If one were to hold it side-by-side with the OEM HP version you are easily able to see and feel the thinner cable and harder wires within it compared to the OEM. Imagine a bread tie and how they break after using a few times. I understand not everyone is so rough with their cables but many are and if you are, I recommend avoiding this brand. I would fear keeping it plugged in while I sleep and NEVER when unattended. I personally don't trust it. Also, the small piece of plastic which holds the cable end firmly to the cable is not firm and is looser than the OEM version. Be careful because less expensive is cheaper for a reason. The OEM version can be purchased for $30 more. It was $40 to $60 high, but surprisingly I noticed the prices come down recently. I wont be using this charger and will be returning it for a full refund. It just scares me. Maybe the manufacturer would have something to say or suggest.

While on vacation, my original laptop charger broke, and I urgently needed a replacement to keep up with work. I ordered this 65W USB-C charger for my HP Spectre, hoping it would do the job — and I couldn’t be happier. It was an exact fit and worked flawlessly right out of the box. The build quality feels solid, and it performs just as well as the original HP charger. It truly saved the day and kept me productive during my trip. Highly recommended for anyone in need of a reliable replacement!

Well, it had to happen sooner or later, I left on a trip and at the airport discovered that I left my genuine HP charger at home. Thanks to Amazon's same day shipment for Prime, I received this at my final destination by the time that I got there (Thanks, Amazon !). As for the Charger, it is definitely not HP OEM, the Pros & Cons are these: Pros: Great price, good for an emergency, working so far. Cons: No UL Stamp (CE means nothing), smaller than HP for the same wattage, the "clip" that holds the cable end to the previous loop doesn't work, and some other reviewers have indicated that it fails early (mine's working so far after a week). Would I buy it again ? Yes, but only for an emergency situation such as this. BTW, the HP OEM charger is $ 56.92 at Amazon.
