Perfect hold strength for the socket holders I built. 2 magnets secure the holders so they won't slide in the drawers. The magnets fit in a 5/8 hole snugly. If you screwed these to a wall you could support a screw driver or chisel.

These work fine for holding small items. The countersink is nice to give a good surface to grip. The magnets are all mounted with the same pole orientation, so wouldn't work if you want to do magnet to magnet connections or closures. The included screws are total junk. I twisted several off before they were even tight, using a hand screwdriver.

The supposedly stainless steel screws that they provide with the set are not stainless steel as can be told because they do stick to the magnets. But the magnets themselves are excellent if you use a longer screw and either mount it to a stud or use the drywall fastener they work very well to hold and organize your tools. In addition to mountain to the wall, I have found by placing a sliding sticker for the bottom of chairs to the magnet they make excellent additions to refrigerator to hold up children art.

These little magnets are stronger than expected! I am using them in my garage to hold decorative metal signs on my garage door and they work perfectly.I also used a couple on the side of my fridge.

Strong hold and just what I needed for my sauna door

Overall, the magnets will work well for what I need but the screws that came with them are horribly cheap. I went to screw them into a thin piece of plastic after having drilled a pilot hole. Not one, not two, but three separate screws sheared off leaving half of the screw in the plastic. I decided to go to lowes and get screws to use and they seem fine now. Guess that's what happens when your products are made in China. Not real "metal"
