This has been an amazing craft for both our 4 year old and 10 year old. So easy to use and a great set of supplies with many colors and multiple needles. Easy directions and a great priced craft.

The kit was purchased to teach a 7 yr old needlepoint. We did not get to a pattern yet but it is great for the basics. My one complaint is that the needles are plastic and flimsy-they bend.

The instruction book should be bigger so the pictures are easier to see and follow. Otherwise, the kit is a perfect beginner kit to learn from. The plastic needles are thin and flimsy.

I bought this for a girls' group (all 10 years old) and I also gave one project to my daughter (12 yrs. old). The directions were fine for my daughter, but the younger girls had some trouble. There is not enough yarn for all the projects, and we had to buy extra for the backgrounds. Maybe if one child did all the projects and was careful, there would be enough yarn for all the images, but for sure not the backgrounds. The needles are definitely flimsy but will work if you are careful. Keep in mind the size; the plastic canvas for each project is about 4x4. I thought they were smaller and therefore would go a little faster for the younger crowd.

Works great kids love it

My kids absolutely loved this for their Christmas present. I bought the 3 different styles. 1 had dinosaurs with it for my 9 year old son. I had to help with reading directions with my kids but they absolutely love it. It has everything you need for it except scissors but that was ok. We have plenty of scissors. I will definitely buy this again for my kids.

I am going to use and share as a hands on activity.

There is no way a 6 year old can count these using these directions. I tried to use a marker to show her which ones to sew. Wish I hadn't opened it. I would have returned it.
