The author is well known for the appropriate use of words--there is a beautiful synchrony of the text and the diagrams/radiographs. The individual sections are well-planned and laid out. I am sure the students who opt for Orthopedics & Traumatology as their specialty will find this a treasure.Suggestion--there could be a bit more description and illustration of the Pathology of bones and joints.

Its very informative, Illustrative, very consisise book.It's going to be very informative to the Undergraduates and Postgraduate students. Just lovely to read!

It is a splendid book covering all the theoretical and viva points with well explained diagrams and X-rays.Concepts are simplified, well explained and very easily understandable.At the end of every topic their are points to remember; which hepls in revision during the exams. Highly recommendable books for undergraduate medical students both for university exams and competitive exam.

This book is way better than the standard maheshwari. Maheshwari is too dry and limited knowledge.. but textbook of orthopedics is well illustrated with diagrams and photos and text is rich with knowledge. Good especially for vivas where concepts are well explained

I have given my university exams with this book and it is a wonderful book , with concepts ,basics, line diagram for easy demonstration and easy to learn language .I suggest all ug students must read it.

The content is too much for MBBS final year level! If you compare it with the orthopedics textbook Maheshwari the amount of information is too much to the point that it gets overwhelming after some time.

Thank God for this book! With the change in curriculum to CBME i had no idea what to read or where to read from. Happened to come across this textbook and it was mentioned it's CBME based. Bought it and went through it.. much much better than borning maheshwari textbook.. this has much better diagrams and photos.. pleasure to read through.. thankyou Dr Edward and Dr Jacob for this book.
