Roizefar Candle Dye - 21 Colors Wax Melt Dye for Candle Making, Oil-Based Dye for Wax, Highly Concentrate Liquid Candle Color Dye

I am just getting back into candle-making, and this is the first colourant I have tried using. When I first learned how to make candles, the colourant recommended in the candle-making kit was crayons, and I remember experiencing the disappointment that goes along with using the harder wax and the types of pigment used in wax crayons.I ordered these dyes because of the colour assortment and price, and 10ml bottles were the standard size I considered.While the instructions tell you to cut the nozzle diagonally with scissors, I used a thick pin to ensure I was only getting a drop at a time. While the bottle was shaken, I might have needed to shake it more. Because I did not know what to expect, I used two colours, Garnet (20 drops) and Black Grey (3 or 4).It is evident that I should have added more colourant to produce a solid colour. Still, I am satisfied with the learning experience during this first coloured dye paraffin wax pour.

Ilove that the set came in a variety of colors and shades of colors. I find them difficult to drop even after pricking the top open

I’m new to candlemaking so have no comparisons but Color’s I’ve used so far are nice

If you don't use alot of the dye, it will give you some pastel shades. The more you use, the darker it gets. In the dark state, colours are true to what you see in the bottles. I would buy again. Works well mixed with mica powerders
