Q: I have a cat5 wire to outside of my house, can I use this siren using only that gauge of wire?

I don't see any reason why not, you could always double up the pairs, mine is run in 18/2 and using cat 5 which is 24guage, by doubling up, ( twist 2 together as one you will be pretty close to 18 guage and it should work just fine, I would take the 2 oranges, & strip them and make one conductor out of it and do the same for the other, say the blue/blue white and if you add up the circular mils of the 2 x the copper, you should be fine. It will still leave you with 2 pair, one for the tamper circuit and a spare

Q: Can this be installed w 10-4 cable at distances no more than 150’?

16/2 speaker wire at that distance should be fine. Make sure you upgrade the alarm panel power supply to support the external siren though. My alarm installer recommended we install at least a 40ma unit.
