Please check the operation video of 2018 Paccar MX-13 basic function.
🚩Warm tips: If your fault code is caterpillar manufacturer private protocol, it is recommended to enter the corresponding cummins engine menu to test, it is not recommended to use Diesel OBD menu to clear. Some fault codes, repaired still will not be cleared, and may disappear automatically after the car has been used for a while. There are also some permanent fault codes on the car, which may not be cleared.

Can I use it without activating first?

Hi dear,

Thank you for your inquiry.

Step 1: Simply plug into the OBD port on your car and turn the ignition on, after the vehicle power on, the device will automatically startup;

Step 2: Connect WIFI. Go to Settings>WIFI;

Step 3: After successfully connecting to WIFI, go to Settings>Activation, click ""Activate"".

Note:1. If the ""Activation failed"" prompt appears on the screen, please check whether your network connection is normal. 2. Click activate directly to use it, no registration is required. Please check the attached an activation video of Ancel HD3100/HD3200 for your reference, the activation steps are the same as Ancel HD3400 truck code reader.

Auto pin detect function of the HD3400 truck diagnostic tool automatically measures the voltage of the OBD diagnostic interface.
🚩Warm tips: Before diagnosing with the machine, use pin detect to measure whether the voltage is normal, and then operate the device if it is normal, and start diagnosing. If the voltage shows 0 and short circuit, it may be because the voltage on the car is low, or the wrong connector is used, the connectors we package are all available, there is no special connector. If this happens, please check if the voltage on the car is too low, and then provide us with the serial number or send a feedback to help you check the cause of the problem.
