Pretty Sweet
This is a nifty little number. Considering its price point, I didn't expect a whole lot. The frets are surprisingly level, and have no fret sprout, or sharp ends, and the intonation is satisfactory, at least on mine. The finish is flawless. The nicely grained fingerboard was a little rough for my liking, not overly, I just prefer them a little smoother. A little 0000 steel wool smoothed it out, and polished the frets nicely. It was in dire need of nourishment however, and a little Neck Honey brought it back to life. The ultra narrow neck has a truss rod, and is strong enough handle the standard high tension CGDA tuning, with both D'Addario tenor guitar, and Ernie Ball medium light 80/20 acoustic guitar strings. Although, it creaks and groans, and the tuners become difficult to turn, while it's being tuned with either type of string. But, once it gets to pitch, it stays put pretty well. It's an A string eating little monster in CGDA tuning however, even up to 12's. I tuned it to the lower tension Irish tuning of GDAE with tenor guitar strings, and have not lost a string since. People with wider fingertips may have difficulty with some chords due to the narrowness of the neck, and closeness of the strings, I do. But, with that singular exception, it is a great little guitar to play.

Good value
I bought this in January, 2023 and have been playing it for 3 months now. I am a beginner so I didn’t want to invest too much in something if I didn’t stick with it. The threads aren’t rounded off but don’t stick out too much on the sides. The strings were a bit rusty from the warehouse but I didn’t change them out in case I wanted to return. I finally changed them out the other day after 3 months averaging 8-9 hours a week of playing. Sounds much brighter and louder now with fresh strings. The tuning pegs turn smoothly and after the strings stretched they hold tuning fairly consistently. I decided it was time to get it a case and today received this case today. A perfect fit. Crossrock Hardshell Arch Top Wood case fits OM, Martin 000 Guitars-Vinyl Tweed(CRW600OMTW)If you’re a beginner, I think this is a good one to go with. I really like the tone of it compared to others I have heard. My music interests are Dixieland and music from the 30’s so the tone fits that era well.

Fantastic guitar for the price!
This tenor guitar is awesome, it sounds big and it has a great tone. It arrived perfecty set up, and very well packaged. An incredible bargain considering its price. Highly recommended.

Fun to own. Amazing price.
As a guitarist I’ve always wanted to use a tenor guitar. At this very budget price I am impressed by the look of the vintage recording king vibe. With a good set of strings and some minor setup tweaksIt’s playing well.

Decent tenor at a good price
I have a Martin tenor but I purchased this guitar as an inexpensive beater that I wouldn’t have to obsess over at the campfire or the cabin. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and sound. It fits the bill perfectly. It would be great for beginners curious about tenor guitars but as a caution, it is pretty much full size and may be a little too large for some.
