This is a handy item for a short person like me. Every time I add salt to my water softener brine tank, all the salt ends up in a big pile on one side. I use this spoon to reach into the brine tank and evenly distribute the salt which is a bit of a reach for a short person like me with a tall brine tank. This spoon works awesome, and it is a big upgrade from the wood, paint stirring sticks that kept breaking in two against the weight of the salt.
