My wife purchased the Quail Feather Plucker as a gift to me for Father's Day. I did not have the opportunity to use it until October when quail season started. It sat in its box, fully assembled, from the manufacturer during that time. I set up the machine and followed the instructions precisely as to water temperature and soaking time. I ATTEMPTED to process 8 bobwhite quail through the machine. Each of those birds only resulted in 40% of the bird being plucked as advertised. 6 of the 8 birds were only plucked about 40% AND the machine completely demolished and ripped the skin (which defeated the whole purpose for using a plucker). I brought this to the attention of the company and asked for a refund since the product did not come close to performing as advertised. They advised me it was their company policy to refuse returns and refunds after the product was used (despite the fact you would have no idea it didn't work properly until after you used it). This company is bad, bad news. Stay away at all costs.
