You won’t regret it
Amazing jacket! It looks awesome, and has gotten me many compliments. It’s been my go to jacket since I bought it in 2017. It’s 2025 as of writing this, and it’s just now starting to fall apart (the leather is flaking off). You better believe I’m going to buy it again because it’s that good. I’ve probably worn it 100 times.

My most used jacket for 4 years
I bought this jacket about 4 years ago at the beginning of my military career. It's very comfortable to me at least. The zipper slider on the left side that holds on the hood piece does kinda uncomfortable press against my collarbone sometimes, especially when I have something over my shoulder but just moving the zipper down a bit fixes that. The inner liner doesn't feel particularly high quality but it isn't bad. The hood piece is comfortable. The cuff and lower rim fabric is stretchy and durable. I had a button break between the top of the jacket and the hood about 2 years ago and never fixed it but it's not really noticable and it still holds well. The leather material lasted well but it has deteriorated over time. It did well in rain as I recall and kept me warm in winter in places like Chicago and Japan so it isn't bad with insulation. The pockets are all super useful. There's an inner breast pocket on the left side and two outer on either side. And two hand level side pockets. My absolute favorite jacket for four years and lasted my whole military career. I'll probably get another one. If I do I'll replace the string in the hood. That lasted well and the metal ends are nice and never broke but I would just like a different one and I'll probably change the inner liner material. Overall good buy.

Do not get size based on height and weight alone
Let me start off by saying that this is a really nice jacket. The outer material is very soft for faux leather and the overall craftsmanship is very good. I do have a bit of a problem with the sizing however. Here's a bit of background for perspective. I'm 5 foot 11 inches tall, weight 180 pounds, have a short torso, long legs, and a 34 inch waist, all on what is considered to be a small to medium body frame. In other words, I'm fairly compact for my height and weight. This jacket in size large is way too big on me, though it fits most people of comparable height and weight just fine. For example, I have another coat that I typically layer a hoodie or sweater under, though it still fits well on its own. It is an American size small. This jacket can be worn over that coat and the layer under it while still allowing me to move effectively. The shoulders are too big causing the arms to hang lower and appear too long. The stretch band around the bottom of the jacket makes it want to sit at my waist, and combined with my short torso, causes the material in the midsection of the jacket to bunch up and puff out the back. Suffice it to say, this does not have the most "fitted" look on me.That being said, I have decided not to return the jacket. It fits great with layers under it, so I'm just going to use this one as an overcoat. I am going to get a second one in size small, and update this review accordingly. If you want a fitted look, go with the size you typically get, otherwise, if you want a looser look or just to be sure it wont be too small, go at least one size up. This should be taken with a grain of salt though, as someone with wide shoulders or a long torso might have to go at least one size up just to get a good fit. In short; take all of your body's dimensions into consideration, not just height and weight.Update: My size small version came in, and it fits me much better than the large. The arm length is almost perfect and the bottom of the jacket sits just below my belt line. The stomach, back, and shoulders are all a good fit, with not much extra material hanging around. I have found that this jacket does have a design flaw, which is also shared by most other leather jackets. There is little to no extra material in the arm pit area, causing the jacket to pull up if you raise your arms above chest level. This is very common in jackets such as this, so it isn't a big deal, at least not to me.Ultimately, this is a very nice jacket, but the sizing can definitely make or break how it looks on you. My final advice to anyone reading this is; do not lie to yourself about your body. If you are a small person and you know it, just go with the size you know fits you best. Likewise, if you are a big person and you know it, go a size up just to be safe. To sum up everything I wrote here in one sentence; I thought I was a medium, so I bought a large, but it turned out that I am a small, and needed a small all along. Take care.

Great looking, affordable jacket
I wanted to get a faux leather medium weight jacket that wasn't the usual black or gray to wear at any occasion: casual or dressy. This jacket is perfect for me. I really like the soft gray color and the bonus of having a detachable fleece hood that zips onto your front zipper from the inside. Fits and looks great. And you can't beat the price!

Nice and heavy
This was a gift for my grown son, and it was perfect. The jacket has great weight but does not feel cheap. We were in FL when I gave it to him, so he has not had a reason to wear it yet, but he loved it and loved the fact the hood zipped out. He was excited to get back to the cold Midwest so he could wear it :)
