Is this airline approved?

The Compass Kennel comes with bolts/nuts that are wholly unnecessary for household use, but essential for airline transportation. Once bolts are properly installed, Compass is airline approved. I have absolute confidence in the travel-worthiness of the Compass, but like another answer, I would use another kennel for the largest dogs.

Does the white petmate compas kennel have a handle for carrying? I see he handle on the pink and blue ones but I am not about to see one on the white.

The 41031, size 19" X 12.7" X 11.5" (any color), and the 41031, size 24.6" X 16.85" X 15", any color, have handles. The 41033 and larger, any color, do NOT have handles.

Do you think this carrier would work for a 13 lb cat that will be on a 4 hour car ride?

Do you think that my 9 pounds, 14" tall Havanese will fit in this crate? flight time is actually 2.5 hours plus 2 at the airport????
