The Most Reluctant Convert - The Untold Story of C.S. Lewis [DVD]

My dad loved this gives a great break down of creation to someone that is very logical. I saw the presentation of this in theater setting i was floored how direct and clear it discusses the Creator God. This is book from that great presentation! Must have.

I saw ads for this and was very interested. I love the writings of C. S. Lewis and his profound, intelligent insight. This movie was made from a play and I think they did a marvelous job translating it to the screen. The main actor is wonderful and has a great voice. I learned much about Lewis that I did not know before. I highly recommend it.

There is a video of the stage play of this story by this actor and I really enjoy it. I must say that I am a big fan of CS Lewis. I wasn't too sure about a movie version of the same story but I have to say that this movie is wonderful. It tells basically the same story but having it filmed "sort of" on location helps add so much to the depth of the story. I have watched it several times and enjoyed it every time. I am no expert on making a movie but I feel that they did a great job and as they start to run the credits, they zoom in on the grave of CS Lewis. Very moving.

Wonderful movie; well worth watching more than once. A very unique perspective. Human and tonic for the soul.

I bought this movie because I liked C.S. Lewis. It ended in me loving C.S. Lewis. The struggle he faced on many levels gives relatability and heart. It shows the real him, who struggled, was arrogant, absolutely brilliant, and became a sincere follower. It is also wonderfully written and acted. Max does a wonderful job. Got to see the play too that was awesome. My only complaint is that I wish it went longer. I want to know so much more about after his conversion.

I was hoping for a movie that told the story in a story format. This was done with narration but was very choppy and jumped around alot making it difficult and awkward to watch (IMHO).The whole movie (it seems) left out chunks of his life and details making it difficult to keep up. Horrid format for keeping one's attention.If you're okay with that then you might enjoy it, but if you're not, don't waste money or time.
