Q: What is the difference between this and 18v? Theyre both 600psi.

40v version lasts longer, and has a longer pipe out to the nozzle.

Q: are thier problems with the plastic quick disconnecks ?

No problem with plastic snap connectors, they hold up well, but can be replaced with metal connectors if you choose.

Q: How long does the battery last?

I was pressure washing screens on a pool enclosure, the 2AH battery lasted about 45 minutes on high, using siphon hose, not garden hose. Nozzel was set on 15degree. Constant use, never let off the trigger for more than a second or two.
