This is very useful and does wonders for hardening low carbon steel!

I have everything from cheap Chinese lathes that I can carry around to pre-WW2 American lathes that weigh more than an F-350. This makes everything work quite well. The massive temperature swings in my pole barn do not seem to bother it very much. I also rubbed it all over a new lathe chuck to see how the rust prevention would work, and it seems to be working well. The wild temperature swings out there cause quite a bit of condensation, so any unprotected steel is rather brown after a day. My chuck still looks brand new. I have nothing bad to say about this stuff.

The media could not be loaded. This 5 gallon bucket of way oil is a great value. It is a medium viscosity used on your lathe, mill, or anywhere you have machined sliding metal components that need lubrication and corrosion resistance. For the hobbyist this is a lifetime supply. Seems to be a pretty good product, kept the bit/metal cool as it should.

We have a variety of machinist needs for work on our land. One of our friends and business partners has a machine shop in town, and this seemed like a practical thing to give him considering all the work that he does for us. He was very happy with the quality of the lubricant. And the bulk amount just makes it all the more convenient, less for him to have to order on his end. He gave it a thumbs up, said he would order the same brand in the future.

No news is good news. After trying multiple way oils and listening to my operators complain, we bought this stuff and haven't had any operator complaints.
