Kiara SkyGelly Tips Starter Kit Short Lengh (Almond Short)

I was very hesitant on buying this product due to my lack of experience but once I applied the first nail, everything else was smooth sailing. Love the tiny UV light that came with it-very easy to use. I got a couple of nails crooked but that was my fault. Only downside is that i wish these tips (almond short) were a little shorter and not as pointy but I filed them down a bit and it was to my liking. I also had to file some on the sides since they were too big but the smaller size was too small.

First dont make fun of the quality of my manicure. It was my first time using these tips. Let me say these Gelly tips seem to work pretty well, although it have been only a day. They do feel secure though. My only criticism of the product itself is that these nails are LONG even though I ordered the short. Good thing is they can be filed down. The other criticism is not of the product but rather the condition it was in when it arrived. It seemed like this might have been a return. The package was in bad shape, dirty and torn. Some of the tape was peeled off. Everything seemed to be there and unused though so I'm okay.It is now a couple of weeks later and these nails are still on! I want to change the color and tried soaking off with nail polish remover after filing off the top coat and is working. The nail sort of dissolves and I'm using remover and not straight acetone. I am really liking these nails.

First of I love the kiara sky products. Really good high quality totally worth the high price tag. My issue is with the nail tips, the nail tips say short but it’s more like medium length, and the nail tips sizes are different form the other nail extensions tips and forms my thumb nail size would normally be 3/4 with these I was a 2 so they run a bit smaller oddly enough they only have one pinky nail size 9 and this one is really big on my pinky I had to file the nail form at the cuticle edge and sides to fit. This I would normally be a nail size 11/10. Also photo is of the belly tips on with gelly nail sticker Also notice I already filed these tips down a bit.

The process was very easy! I’ve been wanting to find a way to do my nails at home and save money. It might be costly upfront but it will save you more money in the long run. We’ll see how long they will last. The mini LED lamp is helpful when curing the tips onto the real nail. It allows you to hold on to the tips so it remains secure. However I would suggest getting a larger lamp to cure the polish because it takes FOREVER to cure each nail individually.
