Briggs & Riley Baseline Toiletry Kits

As someone who has travelled professionally for thirteen years, I have owned many toiletry bags, and tried various brands of luggage. My last toiletry bag was a Tumi, and while it looks the part, and hangs nicely, and is slightly bigger than this one, it has an annoying design flaw in that it kind of only wanted to hang. It was designed such that if there was nowhere to hang it, and you just wanted to place it on a counter, as is convenient in some hotels, there was not really an option for that.So I thought I’d try this one by Briggs & Riley. I think it is my second from this brand, but my first ‘executive’ or hanging option. There was a bit of a down size from my Tumi, which immediately meant I had to put a standard size deodorant in the side pocket rather than one of the extra tall ones. There are slightly fewer pockets, so organization was a bit different. But overall this is a really excellent bag. It’s made as well as any comparable Tumi, while also running half or a third of the price, which is excellent value. It can indeed hang or sit, without any impairment to the functionality. I have all the space I need for content.We all know that you can buy a Dopp kit from anywhere, and toiletry storage solutions start at a fraction of the price of this one. But a well made, good looking, hang or sit design, isn’t so hard to come by. And for that reason, I am well pleased with this one.

I have literally looked high and low for the perfect travel toiletry bag. I have bought ( and gave away ) about four of them because they weren't what I needed. I came across this model and design and this is the perfect toiletry bag. I travel frequently and hated all the compartments in the others. Everything was so difficult to find. This bag basically has one big compartment on the bottom ( when opened ) and another zipper compartment in the top. Everything I need is super easy to locate and use. It also has a small handle on top to pick it up. I am a gentleman so I just need the basics when I travel. THIS BAG IS THE BEST TRAVEL BAG I HAVE FOUND. It is super well made and the design of the interior and exterior compartments is perfect! It is also small and thin for my carry on luggage yet big enough for long trips. If you need a toiletry bag I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ONE!!!

Purchases for my son. Looks lux as the quality far exceeded other similar products. The size is perfect again some others are just too big and hard to open. It is a little more expensive, but considering this is a purchase that he will use for sometime well worth it. The only question was there was an area where it appears you could put initials, but no information as to how to purchase. Possibly this only comes with the larger luggage, but it would be good to know if you could purchase initials to put in the spot that appears to be for them.

Material and color very nice

The bag is shallow and when open takes up quite a bit of space. It tipped over right away when I was seeing if my stuff would easily fit. I will say for a gentlemen, it would be better and it is beautifully made. Very attractive, just not practical for me, hence the four stars.

I have several B&R bags and I love them. I travel for work and Im on the road over 200 days a year. Over 40 flgiths a year. This little bag handles it. I like that it is a smaller dopp than my last one. This makes me carry less. Carry less, experience more! And who doesnt like the lifetime, worry free warranty.

I really like this toiletry kit a lot. In large part because of its layout and shape which makes it easy to spot things in the kit. I also LOVE the interior color which is a tan, light color which makes it visually easier to spot needed items. Who ever thought a black interior was a good idea for any toiletry kit anyway.But the thing that makes this a great kit also sometimes makes it a bit tricky to pack...the shape. This has a boxy design so if you're tight on packing space it sometimes takes a little creativity to fit this in.All in all I am very happy with this kit.

I bought this for my husband to replace his Tumi bag. This has all the quality of Tumi, plus a lifetime warranty and almost half the price of the Tumi!
