It's a door vent I put it in the laundry room door to allow the room to breath. It fit the hole I cut. Functions fine and looks like it came on the door.

Put it in my tiny home. It works perfect when cooking. Keep the smells out of a small area.

had to get air to a downstairs AC intake in a old house.. most products are half the size of this and not remotely enough airflow.I wish there were some male-female screws that could attach the two sides together from both sides. alternatively it can probably be firmly attached with a bit of gorilla glue or some 3M industrial tape under the flange. but there are nothing in the kit other than the actual vent.The install took maybe 10 minutes, started by marking the inner flange, that the vent will fit through, gave it maybe 1/4 inch extra space. hit the door with a Ryobi cordless skilsaw, just rest the support plate and sink it in slowly, the door cut nicely moving the saw backwards to avoid ripping the surface outward.Finished with a hobby knife.. then push the vent in, I drilled four holes and secured with 1" drywall screws, will be back with a couple stainless screws from the hardware store later. I feel that would have completed the kit nicely, but it is what it is..Again - this could have been done with a beat of glue, and some blue painters tape while it cured.. however this as a AirBNB install and I had about 30 minutes to be out of there.. so..
