Love the magma red, didn't mind paying 20.00 extra to get something in the USA wont have. Even thought its a japan import, it works flawlessly with usa ps4, EVERYTHING works on american PS4's. amazing color, and amazing controller (ds4) MUST BUY an extra to use since the batterys die so fast, this is my extra controller for when my stock one dies!!! Grab the Sony dualshock 4 japan import charger also. makes an amazing pair, and very pleasing to the eyes when being used and on the DS4 charger!!! A+ SONY KILLS XBONE

Was looking in purchasing a second controller and decided to import the magma red. The color is deep, vibrant and the texture feels nice. It somewhat similar to the stock black but it has a slight matte finish. Not as matte as the camo controller though. But that could be because it hasn't been used for a while. The thumb sticks feel better than my original stock controller but they're covered with kontrol freeks. I understand that the magma red is an "exclusive" gamestop color releasing around June but i paid an extra 5. Not a problem.

5 weeks with the red controller and it still works fine. I'm a casual-heavy gamer and I read a couple good and bad reviews, and I have to say the problems that some people were having with theirs didn't happen to me. As for those that have the little rubber pieces on the analog stick come peeling off, I highly recommend that you buy grips because my original black controller(which I kinda messed up the L3 button by pressing on it WAY too hard) rubber pieces never once showed ANY sign of peeling. I bought my grips from my local GameStop for about $2-$5 and they are pretty good for the quality. Would have given it 5 stars if it came with a charging cable.Oh and word of warning, this is a JPN PS4 Controller and NOT a US PS4 Controller

Great controller I use it with my pc for steam games, feels solid in the hands and the red color matches my red and black pc. only negative is it does not come with micro usb cable to charge. A none issue if you have spare android charging cables laying around.If you are going to use this for pc games be sure to get the program called "DS4windows" really well done program that has lots of options to change the controller settings ex. change the light bar to different color(default color is blue).

It’s a year later. Still working nicely. These controls wear out. But so far we are still using this one.

The controller is awesome it works great with my ps4 just like the one that came in the box. The red color looks really good I can't figure out why it's not available in the USA. The only bad thing was it took over a week to ship. I finally had to contact amazon to see what the problem was but they were really helpful and got it shipped and upgraded the shipping free.
