I have it running on my tree skirt, so I would imagine so.

What is the size of each car? One video shows it almost 8 feet long comments say that it is about 2 1/2 feet long. Which is correct?

The tracks that came with our set are made of a fairly sturdy plastic or composite material. We have had no problems with breaking, but we’re careful not to step on it. We have had expensive Bachmann train cars, connectors, and alloy steel track break. As with most trains, small children should be supervised while playing. We love this train. It’s a wonderful train for the money spent!
