Q: Are these good quality socks?

I have been a hanes customer for around 50 yrs these socks have made me have to find another brand of sock I wear a 13 shoe the pack says 12 -14 shoe they do not fit. My mom also has changed brands because of this "IQ" sock does not fit her 10's that she had used since before I was born she also says they make her feet sweat and hot they also don't keep her feet dry like the cotton soc s they used to have. Terrible sock I returned the socks. I don't recommend these socks I was very disappointed.

Q: What is used for the IQ odor protection?

A crappy layer on the top of the sock. I preferred it when it was all 100% cotton

Q: Do they come in wide, due to swollen ankles?

I don't know if they come in wide, but I do know the socks are small. I wear regular 9-12, but ordered the extra large size which fit OK. The 9-12 size where way too tight and binding.
