Q: can you please tell me the opening dimensions ?

This loader is made for 45acp and it works great. I use this and it is about effortless. will work with ANY 1911 single stack mags . Wish I had this 40 years ago. As for the dimensions it doesn't really mater , if you have a 45 or 9mm 1911 you need this.

Q: Will it work for a 1911 springfield ronin?

This loader fits all 1911 single-stack magazines in both 45acp and 9mm. If your ronin magazine holds 7 or 8 rounds then you have a single-stack magazine.

Q: Will this work on Taurus G3c ?

No. This loader only works on standard 1911 single-stack magazines just like the listing described.
