Pros:- About $100 cost. Hard to beat this price point, even if it lasts a season it still is a great help milking.- There is some form of manufacturer support (email is [email protected]). After one pump (new) did not produce enough vacuum, I tried this email, and a person emailed me back within a day, trouble-shot a bit via email, and I was sent a new pump unit within 7-days.- The system can be powered by 12V, but one would have to purchase connector(s)... This might be helpful for running it off a cigarette lighter, etc. remotely where conventional power is unavailable.- The AC to DC 12V adapter provided includes an in-line on/off switch. The motor uses less than 20W while running.- Machine is not too loud, I've tried three machines so far. All were not reasonably quiet.- Out of three machines tried, only one had a problem, and that was addressed by the seller.- This is a simple machine, very portable, and the setup is easy.- cleaning is relatively easy, just need to do it!- All machines tried seem very gentle on the goats. Note: We have regular-sized goats, not miniature breeds.- After a couple months of regular use, machine continues to work well. cannot speak about how durable the whole setup is.- The milk in bucket is free of dirt, hair, etc. maybe no need to filter it.Cons:- The wiring for the power supply is not heavy-duty; I recommend protecting the stress points on the wall plug-in and the plug for the pump. This may be done with electrical tape...- One unit out of three I encountered, delivered with a pump not working OK, purchaser may have to deal with a replacement process. This is done using that email provided in the instruction papers.- Instructions are on very tiny print, but system is so simple little instruction is really needed.- May need a little patience developing milking technique with this, bucket fills up quickly so only good for small goat-milking operations. Some hand-milking may be needed to get the last pint out, which is typical.All-in-all, this machine is really, really helpful. Maybe overall faster than hand-milking. It has been a huge help for aching/older hands. I would purchase again if needed. And I hope the seller/maker continues support.

I started using this electric milking machine hoping to save myself some time. It was barely sucking any milk out, but I didn’t think much of it.Until I decided to try hand milking again after using machine. Ending up hand milking twice as much by hand!I must’ve received a defective machine because it was barely getting any milk out and caused my goat to have damage to teat (I fixed with antibiotic cream) and also milk supply issues. This machine might work if you want your goats milk supply to dry up.Also, My goat hated this machine and I had to always apply lanolin to her swollen teats after using this machine. She also would kick a lot when using this machine.Now after going to hand milking, she rarely kicks, her teats aren’t swollen and I get way more milk out.Great seller though. Fast shipping too. I was able to return the machine after trying it a couple times, and figuring out it’s defective and barely pumps any milk out.

Simple to set up, but this machine does not work. My goats were so full that milk would come out with the slightest pressure, but this machine could not collect 1 drop of milk into it's tubes and buckets. There was the slightest amount of suction, but it did not do the job AT ALL. It's a piece of junk.

We've used this milking kit for our goats and loved it. Very simple to use and because of its simplicity it's been easy to have helpers with the milking chores.

The motor doesn't work broke in a month. junk

We needed a milking machine that I could operate while my kiddos (who do the milking) were away at camp. This worked; however, be careful with it. The suction can be controlled which is a plus. But the suction can also be too strong, so pay attention and adjust as necessary. Once we adjusted it, it worked great!

We have pygmy and fainting goats! And I am super impressed how well this works so far! Super easy to use! Made milking way faster and more sanitary. Plus no worries about spilled milk! I'd definitely recommend!
