My first Nixon. Well I've been wanting a moon phase watch for a while. I just couldn't find an accurate one that I could afford. I've been eyeing this one for a while. Finally ordered it. Great Watch!

The media could not be loaded. The Nixon High Tide watch is a good looking and great fitting watch that is built very well. If you want to track sunrise, sunset, moon and tide information and are not looking for something complicated (like a smart watch) then this definitely a viable option. Below are some pros and cons about the watch and attached is a quick overview of the watch.Pros:-Looks great, not too big not too small-Easy to use, the settings are very easy on this watch vs. going with a smart watch option-Display is very legible and the font is great for people with poor eye sight-Nice features like Tide and Moon information as well as Sunrise and Sunset Times-I like that you have two different profiles for tracking tides and times and multiple locations-Not a smart watch, no charging, connecting to a phone, updates, etc. required. . . just a simple battery change every few yearsCons:-Buttons are a little hard to press.-The Moon Phase will only let you go to the next full or new moon, I wish you could just look at the moon phase for any given day (regardless of if New or Full Moon)-There are no alarms on this watch, only an optional hourly chime-The timer option gives you 6 timers. . . 3 that can not be changed, I am not sure why they would develop the watch like this.Hope the review helped.

I like this watch for accurate tide measurements. It even has 3 different ways to display the tide data. The reason it only gets 4 stars is because it does not show seconds and does not have an alarm function. The price point should be lower because of that. Otherwise, it is a functional and stylish watch.
