For context: I’m having a baby shower! At my shower, I wanted to have a small station where people could be creative; however considering we are expecting a large number of guests and my personal distaste for the traditional onsie craft I decided that DIY contrast cards would make for an excellent alternative. It would be a simple craft that anyone could do and it wouldn’t take up too much time to participate.That said, let me first begin with: the product arrived as shown. While I didn’t count to confirm exactly, I do believe there are 100 5x5” white cardstock cards. The cards arrived in stacks of 50 side by side, sandwiched between two 5x10” cardboard then plastic wrapped. That said, I appreciate the packaging as I’m sure it helps prevent any damage to the paper that other products in the same order could potentially cause.Next, I would like to mention the texture of the paper. The paper was relatively smooth on both sides. That said, it did appear to be of a decent-high quality. The only downside to this may be its print-ability. Ink printers that place a more gelatinous ink on top of the paper may need additional care to avoid smudging. Though this is not something I can certainly attest to as I did not print on them myself. Texture aside, the cardstock seemed of standard thickness. For testing purposes, I had created a few example cards finding that sharpie would likely be the easiest tool for guests (as opposed to paint). The sharpies (both felt tip marker and standard fine point felt pen) soaked into the paper well. I didn’t experience any smudging. Though, the sharpie did bleed through the back a bit, it was only visibly. It did not, transfer to the surface beneath.That said, the product was just what I needed, and I would definitely recommend it to others.

High quality, weight, color card for a project. Needed 4x4 size and very happy with the results.

I ordered these as Christmas card inserts that had to fit into 6"x6" envelopes. The handmade Christmas cards are very fragile and these paper squares will work perfectly to protect the cards during mailing!

The product is totally fine but it’s packaged in a box four times the size. Don’t worry though– they are just spread out in a larger square. I don’t know why this is done but it’s alright.
