The smallest they have is 5/32" which is still slightly larger than 1/8" ( which would be 4/32")

Not at all - it’s way too think sizes rope. It would hurt the face and tear the skin. You could get elastic for that - usually that’s what is on the N-95 mask. That way it’ll fit and stay tight on the face which is super important. Anything that ties on these mask are considered out of date being they can untie during surgery and fall off. If you look up on Amazon, it’s the 1/4” elastic to be used for face masks. The one I’m buying is listed by Craftables as 10 yards of 1/4” DIY face mask elastic. It’s $12.99 with free ship and available. They have great photos and a helpful video. Amazon wouldn’t allow me to post their link here. Sorry.
