I purchased Potassium Ferricyanide and Ferric Ammonium Citrate to make Cyanotype. Potassium Ferricyanide is laboratory grade with high purity, good packaging, and the quality of the end product is superior

EASTCHEM Potassium Ferricyanide (99.50%)
It is what it claims on the tin: Potassium Ferricyanide. Red in color so it's not hydrated (Potassium Ferricyanide Hydrate is yellow). Price wise at $40 for 500g it's on par with what most brands will run you in this size, but not all and can be found significantly cheaper if you shop around or you want to buy it in larger quantities.

It is EXPENSIVE to make orange crystals
The media could not be loaded. I don't like the steep price.250g, a minuscule amount of the product for $24 after taxes is a RIP OFF!Its just double the price, really.I used to buy this for photo prints tints during the mythical B&W days. And also today can be had for 24 bucks on a BIG photo seller's website for from NYC.Stupid me to forget that!Anyway it takes more than 1lb to make a saturated solution in 1000ml of water to make orange crystals. So this product has useless to me considering the price/ quantity ratio.

Potassium Ferricyanide
This Potassium Ferricyanide garners versatility in solubility, offering compatibility with both water and acetone. Housed in a convenient bottle, the product is appreciated for its quality, making it suitable for printing applications. However, a minor inconvenience is noted with its tendency to be a bit messy. Despite this, the overall quality remains commendable. While effective for printing purposes, the only drawback is its relatively higher cost.
