Came across these and though what the heck, it's absolutely brilliant. Just a slight pinch when it goes through, not really painful though (I have a very low pain threshold) so quick and easy to do 😁

I’m a qualified ear piercer at an independent fine jewellers. I’m currently off work and having decided a while ago to change the location of my 1st and 2nd holes (due to them being positioned wrongly by the GP who did them years ago - yeah showing my age😂) I did some searching on Amazon and decided to try these. As I couldn’t see myself I got my 21yr old son to do the deed. Having gone through the angle, placement and direction points of piercing - he went for it (his first time - though he is used to putting in awkward cartlidge piercings for me that I can’t see) THE GREEN DOTS ARE WHERE MY OLD ORIGINAL PIERCING HOLES AREThey went in incredibly smoothly and didn’t ‘stick’ (as can happen with many poor quality kits) this system reminds me of the Studex system, I use at work. The studs are small and fairly discrete (some self piercing studs are like chunky door knobs and in my opinion look horrible) I’ll be happy to wear these for the next 6-8wks as needed before replacing them. 5 stars all around from me. A good enough substitute whilst I’m unable to get to to a professional fellow piercer.I’d always recommend you go to a proper professional piercer as they will have been trained and be incredibly aware of the need for hygiene and aftercare. Also placement and other such things that always make a difference between a good and bad piercing. If you must DIY, this kit is is a good choice. One that if I needed to, I’d use again. Having said that with 19 total ear piercings alone… I think I’ve about run out of space!😂🤷🏻‍♀️Hope this helps.

Used this to do my daughters 2nd lobe piercing, quick, easy, she hardly felt it and lovely size too as some others are too big in my opion for kids but this size is great for what we wanted.

i purchased these a month ago and were very easy to use and didn’t hurt at all. however you need a bit of force to full secure the backs. i found that on my first ear the back didn’t go on so i used one of my own. on the second ear, the back did go on but throughout the first week that ear was extremely painful. i changed the back to a smaller one of my own and everything has been fine since. they are healing perfectly and have not tarnished.make sure to use a piercing solution twice a day and there should be no problems. a great alternative if you can’t get it done professionally

I’ve pierced my own ears but I would’ve liked some help as my ears aren’t pierced symmetrically, but I’m still very very happy 😆
