A lot of these other trailer hitch locks can easily be kicked off. When you can have upwards of a $100k trailer, it's worth investing into a lock that is tamper resistant, heavily pick resistant, and heavily cut resistant. Do not opt for any other lock unless you're looking for a visual deterrent, that's all the rest of these are in the market.

I’ve had several other styles that were all junk . This one’s a keeper. It’s the best tongue lock I’ve ever had well worth the money to try protect what I have. Like a lot of other people I probably spent this much in junk that went in the garbage can that wouldn’t stop or even slow down someone from taking my trailer this one will maybe make them think twice ! ! can it be broke off ? probably with a lot of noise!

I was thinking this trailer coupler lock was expensive, but you get what you pay for. I take a vehicle to numerous car shows through the year and got to thinking about, what if my car hauler was stolen at an event. The money I have invested in my car hauler plus paying for alterations, I have a lot invested, so why not protect my investment to ensure my car hauler will be where I left it. I believe this money is well spent ensuring peace of mind. Altor, keeping honest people honest.

We call this lock "The Beast"! It is a well made quality product. Small price to pay for peace of mind. It's a must have. Spend the money once. I highly recommend.

I looked and researched for 3 hours about trailer locks, and this does not disappoint. It’s a good fit and is the most taper resistant trailer lock on the market. Spend the extra $100-$150 it’s worth every penny to protect your investment.

We've used our Icon for almost two years. At first it worked great, but over time the cylinder sticks which makes getting the cylinder to disengage extremely difficult. It takes frequent wd-40 applications to "unstick" the cylinder, which can be hard to apply when the lock is fully on the ball. We are concerned using this while we our on our rv journeys could place us in a challenging bind, if the cylinder sticks completely. We almost didn't get it off in our latest attempt. If you live anywhere that is dusty or sandy, this may not be the lock for you.

This is one of the most serious trailer locks I have ever heard about. Bought mine and it was very east to install. Only way I think someone is going to steal my trailer now is by cutting the whole hitch assembly off or spending one heck of a lot of time trying to remove the lock which is such a deterrent to 99% of thieves that they would just move on to an easier target.
