Size 00 unpacked capsules makes about 525 mg each
I turned this into capsules using size 00 capsules and a capsule maker of that size. I didn't use the tamper tool (the thing that presses the powder more tightly into the capsules so you can add more.) After I made the capsules I weighed them on my nootropics scale by putting an empty capsule on it, subtracting the weight of the capsule, taking the empty capsule off, and then putting a full capsule on it to see how much the content weighed. The scale couldn't decide between 0.52 grams (520mg) and 0.53 grams (530mg), so I settled on calling it 525mg.That was pretty much the size I was going for. I found that with (another brand of) hyaluronic acid, taking 500mg a day made my skin look GREAT, so dewy and hydrated. So 525mg is the perfect size for me. I made 4 batches which, for the size of my capsules maker, works out to 96 capsules. And I had a little bit of powder left over. Looking at the price (currently $29.99 for the 2oz size I have), that works out to about $10 a month for a pretty large dose (only $5 a month if the capsules you're making are smaller and only contain 250mg; still a relatively large dose.) You can also tell that it's hyaluronic acid because when you wash the powder off of your hands, it turns slimy! lol.Really cool brand. My capsules are from this brand, too, although I didn't realize it at first.

Effective therapeutic ingredient for my hand made soaps
I make hand made cold process soaps. I like to add “extras” where possible, if they come in a form that i am able to incorporate them. Powdered herbs and other therapeutic agents work well, as i can blend them into my powder pigments, which i then mix with an oil, before adding to the batter. I get a lot of wonderful feedback about the therapeutic benefits of my soaps. For this Hyaluronic Acid Serum to to come in a powder form is seriously exciting for me as a soap maker, because Hyaluronic Acid is an effective aid in moisturizing the skin, as it is a “humectant” meaning that, it helps the skin effectively grab onto moisture. Soap gets a bad rap for drying out skin, but that is not the case with hand made soaps, they are oil rich, contain no preservatives, or artificial ingredients to extend their shelf life, or maintain their colour, and are already very moisturizing, but to be able to incorporate Hyaluronic Acid into them too, to extend the moisturizing properties, is a very exciting concept for me as a soap maker. Obviously, cold process soap takes 5-6 weeks to cure, so i won’t have any Hyaluronic Acid Soap ready until that time, but i will come back and update my review, should I get some good feedback about this. It’s very important to me, to know how my customers feel about my soaps, and thus far, I’ve had very good reviews where I’ve added ingredients beneficial to skin.

Makes a great facial serum
This is a food grade H/A Powder. I never took this internally but I did make a facial serum with it. It works so great for plumping and smoothing my skin. I absolutely loved it! The recipe is actually on the back of the package so be sure and look for it. I want to try as a supplement but I loved it so much topically that I hate to waste any! It is good quality. I would highly recommend!

Possibly good for the joints but doesn't mix well
While I understand that most people primarily use Hyaluronic Acid for skincare and wrinkle control, what got my attention is its purported Bone and Joint Health benefit. I liked the idea that you could add the XPRS Nutra Hyaluronic Acid Serum Powder to protein shakes because that is convenient. Unfortunately, the powder didn't mix well with my protein powder and coated the interior of my mouth with a slick, almost insidious film that was very difficult to remove. It was such an unpleasant experience, so I got a bottle of NOW Supplements Liquid Hyaluronic Acid instead. Using the XPRS powder as a topical paste might work for some, but it didn't work that great as an ingestible ingredient for me.

4 1/2 stars Very versatile can be taken orally but is best used in skin care products
Hyaluronic acid is supposed to help with inflammation so this product can be taken orally. However, I find that it is far more useful to add this powder to skin care products. I recently used it to make my own serum. By adding it with vit C powder and reverse osmosis water. I like that I can have a fresher and cheaper product than buying it in the store. It can be also added to witch hazel and I have tried with my toners. Another thing is that since it is in a powder form it should have a long shelf life. I am very pleased with how versatile it is.
