We are so happy with this beverage container. It is made well and holds ample amount. Very happy with it.

After reading a number of reviews I was a bit nervous about this purchase but I love it so far. A few things to note:1. Ice Insert came with a huge dent in it because they jammed the chalk board into it. Doesn't seem to leak but I don't use it so that's a neutral. I also have not used the chalk board yet but great idea when having a gathering.2. Glass Jar - complaints re: cracking at the spout - don't overtightened the mechanism. You need to trust that the 2 rubber seals will hold. Also do not add hot water to wash is and be very careful setting it on a granite counter top. I suspect it's not a high quality glass like pyrex and can not deal with extreme temperature changes. I let it come to room temperature before washing (in warm water) and refilling.3. Spigot - I love that it's stainless steel - holds up so much better and doesn't look cheap. Because you don't want to over tighten the nut it does have some wiggle it, but it's manageable. NO leaking!! I included a picture to show the 2 rubber seals, inside and outside.4. Cover - I set it on top, and do not tighten it. You do not want it tight, you need some air 'in' so the beverage comes out. I found the volume of liquid coming out is perfect. As for rust - make sure you dry the lid between refills. And yes you will get some 'jam up' at the spigot if you add items to the jar but give it a little wiggle and problem solved.Overall this is a great beverage dispenser. I refill it every day with a new flavor and keep it in the refrigerator. Works like a charm.

Couldn’t get the top off

Even though I know the size of a gallon, I imagined these would be a bit bigger; however, I imagine they'd be too heavy when full if they were bigger because they're glass. Otherwise, these are perfect for my staff meetings and other events at work. I can't wait to use them for a housewarming party at my new house. I originally needed to order them really quick, and I didn't read the whole description. I was very happy it came with everything down to the chalkboard pens for the cute chalkboard label. It has two different inserts - one with openings and one without. It was also packaged well and arrived with no damage. I ordered two. I kind of wish I had found something with a stand, but I can make do. My co-worker has already borrowed them for her events. If they're in a secure spot, I don't tighten the lids all the way down when serving as the spigots flow better that way because of the physics of water and air pressure. Party on!

I have had this water jug in my refrig for over two months now...use it every day...no problem with leaking, and for the top instead of screwing it on, I folded up a 1/4 sheet of a paper towel and cut it to fit the inside of the lid...then just set it on top of the jug, so there is no condensation inside the lid to make it rust, and that way there is an easy fast flow when I turn on the knob. also, there were comments about it sliding around when turning it on and off, so I put underneath it a nonslip piece of waffle like draw liner, cut to fit the bottom. Works for me and I would highly recommend this jug to anyone. LOVE IT!

Pretty at first but it rusted very early on. I bought this 10/2023. I dealt with it, but it continued to get worse, to the point I don’t want to use it anymore. I contacted the seller with pictures of the rust, and their response was “ Please be advised that this order was shipped through Amazon. We will make sure they pack it better.” It has nothing to do with the packing obviously, which is what I wrote back, and there was no email response. I told them I would leave a 1 star review, so this is my one star review. Expensive to only last a couple months, not even a year. Would never buy this again, and strong reserves to buy with this seller again as well.

It leaks, would not recommend or purchase again.
