Q: Where can I get the threshold ramp as shown in the pictures

The threshold ramp came with the gate. But if you place the gate on a wall that has a baseboard the gate will be too high to use the ramp. So mine is taking up space in my garage.

Q: Is the gate sturdy enough for a small husky? He’s an escape artist and already knocked down our first pet gate.

It tighens up pretty well with rubber stops, and has held up to our 2 year old taking runs at it and my mother using it instead of her walker, so I think it can handle a dog.

Q: is this gate expandable?

I bought the extension for a wide opening.

Q: do I buy extensions for a 72" opening. The description contradicts itself???

I bought the size it said it was in the main selection, and it came with the pieces you needed to reach that size. I imagine the description covers their various sizes offered.
