Exceptional product!
I've tried a few with no success. This toilet seat is everything it says it is. It fits my round toilet perfectly, barely visibly overlipping the bowl, which is the structure not the opening. The bowl opening is exact size of the original toilet seat opening. The feet sit perfectly on the rim of the toilet with no movement at all for me. Lifts to clean as easy as a regular toilet seat and even easier if you remove it, which is simple. I'm 68 yo with arthritis, bad knees. I'm 5'4" 160lbs. My feet don't rest flat on the floor but reach enough so no problem. I also installed it all by myself within 30 minutes. It was simple installation that a healthy person could do in half the time. I was So thrilled that it fit and worked so perfectly! If you have a ROUND bowl order it you won't be disappointed! The Kohler quality is superb and is nicer looking than other fixtures in my bathroom. Lol

Functional AND stylish solution!
My husband had a hip replacement in May, and found that our 'comfort height' toilet needed no modifications other than the assist bars that are shown in the last photo. However, this week he had the first of his knee replacement surgeries, and his first try at sitting on the toilet was impossible. The seat was just too low. Local shops only stocked the blow-molded plastic toilet toppers that clamp onto the existing toilet base, requiring the existing seat to either remain up all the time (nope, close seat before flushing!!), or to be removed and attached to the seat riser. Aesthetically, they look less than attractive, reminding one of a hospital or nursing home. Not only thst, but reviews are mixed, with many users reporting that they shift and slide under the body's weight and movement, and can even come unlatched completely. This any acceptable for anyone, but especially for someone with new joint replacements for whom safety and proper joint alignment while moving is essential. It was by reading one of these products' reviews where I came across a written account of another person's experience with one of those cheap plastic risers, and he mentioned going with the Kohler Hyten seat. I found the product, and was immediately impressed. Ordered it for one-day delivery. When it came today, I grabbed my phillips screwdriver and got to work. Our existing toilet seat was a Kohler, and so was delighted to find that the silicone/stainless top-mount anchors are the same for both seats! All I had to do was remove the screws and old seat, and install the new seat's mounting plates snugly in place. Snap on the covers, and the seat was installed! Took me no more than ten minutes. It installs completely from the top. Fits our elongated toilet perfectly, and looks clean and very modern. The seat is smooth and comfortable, and even though I don't need the extra height myself at 5'4", it's not too high for me to use easily. The material is the same as our regular Kohler toilet seat - smooth, hygienic, and comfortably contoured. It even has a soft-close hinge, which I consider essential. Kohler thought of everything with this one. Hubby has been napping, and I'm sure he will be surprised - and happy - too see this seat in place for his added comfort while recovering from his knee replacement. I do not anticipate needing to remove this seat after he's completely mobile again (the second knee will be replaced in about 6 weeks) because it looks so nice, but if I would decide to do so, I know that it will be extremely easy. I highly recommend this product as a much better option for anyone needing a taller toilet seat, whether you're just very tall or you need it for home convalescence.

Easy install, nice looking piece.
Yea, it may slip a bit but what in the world would your expectations be. You have a hunk of plastic and you put 150 to 250 lbs on it. You squirm around, bend sideways, etc and you think that 2 screws will hold anything that is screwed against China will not move around? Good luck with that. I believe this is a great product. Its made well and that is a nice feature of being able to remove the seat for cleaning. Also, thanks for the install video you have. It took all the guess work out of the installation. If I have any updates, I will add them.

Worth the money
This toilet riser is wonderful & gives me just the added height to ease knee pain when standing up from it.It is secure & was easy for me to install. I love the lid so I can sit in it while dressing. Definitely worth the money.

A bit tricky to keep the underside clean
Durable, comfortable, easy to install, somewhat of a challenge to clean, the underside has many nooks and crannies which tend to get soiled. The material of the seat is quite easy to swipe with a disinfecting wipe but takes more time to clean than a standard seat, that being said it is exactly what I need!

Finally! An aesthetically pleasing elevated toilet seat!
Here's an elevated toilet seat that won't embarrass anyone or look out of place. It not only fits our main bathroom toilet perfectly, it also has a seamless look, which means that it looks as though it actually belongs to the toilet instead of being an obviously heightened seat made of clunky plastic that just sits on top of the toilet bowl without the courtesy of a lid. Yes, we had one of those for quite a while, and although it met the need as best it could, we're glad to say goodbye to it. I would always hide it away whenever we had guests because it was pretty much an embarrassment. With time, the plastic surface, which wasn't as smooth as this seat's surface, had become stained and discolored, and no amount of scrubbing could remove it. This seat is just *so* nice! It's made of smoothly polished, seamless plastic that's quite strong, and the lid is substantially thick, not cheap or thin, which means that the lid doesn't bend or appear about to break when I sit on it. I love the lid's quiet-close feature, too--it adds a bit of "class," if I can say that about a toilet seat. My husband installed it easily, and he's very happy with how it looks and functions. Being in my late 60's with weak, problematic knees, I find an elevated toilet seat to be crucial. This high-quality Kohler seat is not only functional--the three-inch height is perfect, it will be easy to clean, and it has a good lid--it's also aesthetically pleasing. The bathroom looks so much nicer now!
