Works great & sturdy
We are new to tagging and used this to tag our Kunekune pigs. It worked great and it seems solid. No plastic parts to break.

Doesn’t work right with government tags, waste of money
Total junk. Bought to retag a pig and it wouldn’t work right with the tag and never would picture the animals ear. We tried three times with the government tag. Definitely not universal.

Flimsy
Flimsy and sometimes makes me mistag or cause unnecessary pain while tagging my sheep. The metal holding fork is bent easily even though I am not at all strong. I bought a good heavy duty tagging pliers from Premier1Supplies and this is demoted to backup.

Ear tagger, good for one person use
I like that I can put the tag in with one hand instead of using 2 and needing an extra helper. Only downfall is that I felt it didn’t keep the backing tag on, it kept slipping off until I got it up to their ear. It overall was a great product for a great price.
