A great set of clipper guides, I was able to cut the top of his hair quickly, which for a 9 year old is a big deal! I’m a total amateur when it comes to hair cutting but these made the final result look perfect. They fitted perfectly and securely to my clippers and will easily pay for themselves in a couple of cuts. Build quality is excellent so I can see many years of use, nicely rounded edges so he was super happy for me to use them (even more than the Wahl ones I use on the sides) No complaints at all. I ordered the night before and they arrived the next day - packaged well too.

I was dissatisfied with the length of cutting guides that come with clippers so for ages I dreamed of getting some that were longer. Picked these up and have used them a couple of times. I was pleased with the quality construction, and overjoyed that they actually fitted my existing clippers (some old Babyliss men's one). That was the biggest test. They snapped on and worked fine. Wonderful. However, I still look like an electrocuted sheep after cutting my own hair, but hey, that's on me.

This review shall mostly compare these guide combs to wahl's "premium" guide combs. The plastic used is comparable (i.e. pretty solid) with reinforced outermost teeth and, although it does flex, it could be brittle enough to break if dropped hard. They have metal clips and a riveted plate with extremely similiar construction. They are a slightly snugger fit on the wahl elite pro clippers (stock blade) and the little ribs that engage the front of the blade are slightly smaller (this should not affect their strength significantly but care should be taken that the fit is good), additionally the tips of the teeth are wider and the base of the teeth narrower i.e. they do not vary in thickness except that the top of each tooth is thicker with a visible step down to a thinner width for the rest of the tooth, this is very small and is the only contouring present on the teeth. They are considerably heavier and I suspect this is partially due to the plastic used as well as their increased size.Summary: no complaints concerning strength but the design is simplified compared to wahl's "premium" guide combs leading to slightly less foolproof usage, the potential for slightly less ability to "pick up" the hair due to non-tapered teeth and a heavier weight.Note: Product images are accurate as of the time of this review and give a complete picture of how they look.

Nice clippers and coloured clip attachments

Excellent guides which I took a bit of a punt on…..I have a limural set of clippers so wasn’t sure whether these would fit. Anyway I can confirm they do and, with metal clips, are of a higher quality than the ones that were packaged with the clippers. Would recommend.
